Hi, my name is Ivan. I have more than 25 years experience as a driving instructor, including 18 years with Nottinghamshire Fire and Rescue Service, delivering car and lorry training, advanced driving, high-speed driving and response driving.

I’m confident I can help you achieve your goal!

I offer both manual and automatic lessons in modern 2025 Renault Clios, offering a comfortable and practical environment in which to learn.

Interested In Becoming a Qualified Approved Driving Instructor?

As an experienced driving instructor trainer, Ivan has trained Approved Driving Instructors, HGV driving instructors, and instructors who deliver advanced/high-speed and response driving. As part of a small national team, Ivan worked on the creation of a national driving instructor course for the NFCC (National Fire Chiefs Council) driver training advisory group, and created a full and comprehensive course for the East Midlands regional Fire & Rescue services.

All of this experience allows Highway One to offer driving instructor courses of the very highest standard.
